About Celeste Kraft...My name is Celeste Kraft, and I am a birth doula, postpartum doula, and childbirth educator. After the life-changing birth of my first son, I began supporting friends during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as they sought me out hoping for their own positive experiences. Going through doula training five years later in 1997 was the natural next step for me when I learned that what I did - really, who I am - had a name! I've been a doula ever since, and I continue to learn from each family I am honored to serve.
I believe that being a doula is a profession, not a philosophy. I believe women are fully capable of making choices that are best for their families. I'm happy to draw on my training and experience to help clients find the information they need as they develop their own birth and parenting philosophies. |
