Sibling Doula Services

Including your children in your birth plan can be a really fantastic way to begin their relationship together! Older siblings often feel less jealousy and more a part of the process when they attend their sibling's birth. SEM Community Doulas can help you and your child(ren) prepare for your birth and newborn baby. 

Many hospitals and homebirth midwives request that if you plan on having a child present at your birth, that you have a support person specifically for him/her. SEM Community Doulas are experienced working with children of varying ages at both hospital and home births. They can answer your child's questions about birth in a way that's easy to understand and supportive. Because they'll already know you and your child, they'll also know when your child might be getting overwhelmed or need a break.
